A Professional Open Format DJ Since 1998
DJ SR – call him Shom, has been DJing since 1998. Since then he has built an established reputation with successful event organisers, high end audio visual companies and reputable hospitality venues over the years. He rotates playing weekly between corporate events, private parties and bars in London.
Shom has had a long privileged history from holding long term residencies at some of West end’s reputable venues, successful promoters then playing for Royal Family members to rocking global multinational companies’ annual parties/ galas.
The music and styles Shom plays cover a wide range of parties and age groups with many requesting vast different music policies.
He can suit and work well in all types of events (with the exception of kids parties).
Main thing is Shom ALWAYS creates a fun set & gets people dancing!
Open format DJ playing many genres from 80s, 90s, Top 40’s, cheese, disco, funk, R&B (Old Skool to current), Hip Hop, house and garage, pop, rock, soul and many more including eclectic mash-ups. His sets & styles depending on private party client’s requests, or whether following to the venue’s music policy.
Shom has many different styles of DJing going from relaxed clean smooth background mixing, to a nightclub – style party rocking set to even those organisers requesting a showcase scratch DJ.
With over 26+ years of experience - he's not a new breed DJ. Not relying on social media or heavy online promotions. Shom works by networking in person - by word of mouth and referrals. By doing this over decades he has built and maintained a long successful history of quality clients.

Event organiser requesting to book. Shom owns a DJ/ event business. All business services that you contract with your client remains exclusively with no promotions of Shom’s company (unless collaborations agreed).
Invoicing & comms will be business to business between two parties whilst Shom’s company remains 3rd party independent (unless otherwise agreed).
Repeat ongoing bookings will continue via your business.
Recommended affiliated 3rd party suppliers for bespoke tailored events – again remains business to business unless b2b collaborations agreed.
As an event organisor you may request various styles of DJing for different styled events.
There are various ranges of equipments to suit varying budgets.

Preferably not one genre only sets (unless booked for one hour).
Events requiring a few tracks that are from of below (within an open format set of 2-4hrs) can be played and accommodated.
2am-4am closing venues:
Upto 1am finishes are Shom’s normal gig hours.
Now in the 40’s like – most 40+ people, Shom prefers not so late nights as more life commitments requiring to be up earlier. Also for health reasons.
Kids parties:
A particular type of entertainer DJ is required for children’s parties. Shom is not the best fit DJ for this kind of event.
Pricing is flexible & dynamic:
Prices vary according to amount of equipment supplied, number of DJ hours, distance travelled & other costs incurred to perform.
Flights, hotels, fuel, congestion charge, parking fees, tolls, earlier set up & waiting time charges will apply.
Discounts may applicable on selective gigs.
Dates of month (sun- wed discounted)
Christmas parties on selective days between 21st nov-16th December & Dec 31st are charged at either double/ triple rate of regular pricing (due to high demand).
Terms & conditions stated on invoice for each job/ performance.
Deposits are required for all corporate events and private events.
20-50% in advance required for private bookings, corporate events & weddings. Percentage will vary according to suppliers, amounts or whether DJ fee only.
