DJ SR, also known as Shom, has a notable history with residencies at prestigious London venues, entertaining audiences, including the Royal Family.
He expertly curates a diverse range of music for all ages, consistently crafting energetic sets that get everyone dancing!
Shom is equipped for various events (excluding kids’ parties).
Since 1998, he has built a strong reputation among event organizers and started a successful business in 2013, partnering with AV companies for elite venues.
He regularly performs at corporate events, private parties, and bars in London, and also provides top DJs for different venues.
Shom is a versatile DJ proficient in a wide array of musical genres including the 80s, 90s, Top 40, disco, funk, R&B (from classic to contemporary), hip hop, house, garage, pop, rock, soul, and an eclectic mix of mash-ups. His performances are tailored to accommodate the specific requests of private party clients as well as the musical policies of various venues.
His diverse DJing styles range from smooth, relaxed background mixing to dynamic, nightclub-style party sets, and even showcases for those who request skillful scratching techniques.
With over 26 years of experience, Shom isn’t just your typical new-age DJ who relies on social media! He believes in the power of personal connections and builds his reputation through friendly networking, word of mouth, and referrals. Event organisers can engage Shom, a professional DJ offering services under a white label arrangement, ensuring his branding remains undisclosed unless a collaboration is agreed upon.
All invoicing and communications will be directly between your organisation and his independent company.
Future bookings will be coordinated through your organisation, with Shom providing recommendations for third-party suppliers to enhance events.
As an organizer, you can request various DJ styles tailored to your events, with equipment options to fit different budgets.

Shom likes to play a mix of genres (unless it’s a one-hour set).
For events needing a few tracks from the above, we can include them in a flexible set lasting 3-4 hours.
2am-4am closing venues:
Upto 1am finishes are Shom’s normal gig hours.
Now in the 40’s like – most 40+ people, Shom prefers not so late nights as more life commitments requiring to be up earlier. Also for health reasons.
Kids parties:
A particular type of entertainer DJ is required for children’s parties. Shom is not the best fit DJ for this kind of event.
Pricing Structure:
Rates will vary based on equipment needs, the duration of DJ services, travel distance, and other associated expenses.
Additional charges may be incurred for flights, accommodations, fuel, congestion fees, parking, tolls, early setup, and waiting time.
Discount opportunities may be available for specific events.
Reduced rates are offered for bookings on Sundays through Wednesdays.
For Christmas parties scheduled from November 21st to December 16th and on December 31st, pricing will be adjusted to double or triple the standard rate due to increased demand.
The terms and conditions are outlined on each job invoice.
A deposit is required for all events.
An advance of 20-50% is necessary for private bookings and corporate events; the percentage may vary depending on the supplier and service rendered.
