DJ SR (Shom) has been DJing since 1998, full-time professionally from 2007-2023. Now in 2024, he is reducing the number of sets as now he is working within another industry.
The places DJ SR plays (and played) at vary from; residency at one of London’s biggest weekly nightclubs, playing for Royal Family members to billionaires to global multinational companies’ annual parties/ galas and many more private events.
Shom has built an established reputation with multiple bars, event organisers, and AV companies over the years. He now regularly rotates between clubs, bars in London, and private parties – mainly corporate events. Shom now prefers not to play in nightclubs due to the late 2-4am ending hours.
The music and styles Shom plays cover a wide range of parties with varying music policies. He can suit and work well in all types of events (excluding kids parties).
DJ SR varies his sets from the 80s, 90s, Top 40’s, cheese, disco, funk, R&B (Old Skool to current), Hip Hop, house and garage, chic disco beach house, pop, rock, soul, mash-up to anything the asked for – depending on the client request, type of party or venue music policy.
DJ SR – if you have read this far you may as well call him Shom; has many different styles of DJing going from relaxed clean smooth background mixing, to a nightclub-style power party rocking set to even those organisers requesting a showcase scratch DJ.
Shom is frequently booked multiple times each week so it is advisable get in touch early (at least 6 weeks).
